Flux cored arc welding (FCAW) is a fast, portable method for welding stainless steel and high-nickel alloys. It can be performed manually or with automated and semi-automated systems:

Can be used in any welding position
Has a high deposition rate in several positions, making it fast and efficient
Requires less pre-cleaning of metal
